Students, Who Major in International Relations, Talked to a Well-known Ukrainian Diplomat

Students of the speciality “International Relations, Public Communications and Regional Studies” had the opportunity to chat online with a famous Ukrainian diplomat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Latvia Oleksandr Mishchenko. The event was held within the project of the Department of International Relations “Meeting with Diplomats”.

The meeting was opened by the Rector of the University, Professor of International Relations Igor Tsependa. In his introductory speech, Ihor Yevhenovych, who once served in the diplomatic service in the Republic of Poland, stressed the importance of such meetings, especially for future diplomats in their professional development and thanked his colleague for participating in the project.

During the virtual meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Latvia Oleksandr Mishchenko told the students about the work of the diplomatic mission and shared his own experience. He also answered a number of questions that interested the participants of the event. In particular, on bilateral relations between Ukraine and the Republic of Latvia, the peculiarities of the embassy.
