On December 10, 2024, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a ceremonial meeting with the laureates of the National Prize of Ukraine named after Borys Paton. During the event, the Head of State awarded honorary badges and diplomas to the authors of the scientific work “Unified Ukraine in the Struggle for State Independence in 1917-1923”.
The President acknowledged the vital role of scientists in restoring historical memory, stressing the significance of their efforts in strengthening Ukrainian statehood and promoting scientific achievements on a global scale. He expressed his gratitude to the scholars for their work, which has greatly contributed to understanding the challenging chapters of Ukrainian history and fostering the concept of national unity.
