Scholars from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of Precarpathian National Vasyl Stefanyk University, professor Volodymyr Lushchak and senior researcher Victoria Hurza took part in the 48th Congress FEBS «Mining biochemistry for human health and well-being», which was conducted in Milan for five days.
A lot of attention at the Congress was devoted to human health and well-being, what could be achieved and improved by means of molecular and cellular biology.
In addition to important scholarly topics on the latest developments in biochemistry, the Congress also held special educational sessions, symposiums and economic discussions related to biochemistry.
Overall, FEBS organized events aim to exchange ideas and provide communication between scholars of different levels. Also, FEBS has a system of scholarships to support young scholars who are at the initial stage in their careers.
