Today, the Precarpathian (Carpathian) Vasyl Stefanyk National University hosted a meeting of the university management, teachers, students and educational specialists with the Vice-President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Oleg Topuzov and the Head of the Department of Primary Education of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogy of Ukraine Oksana Onoprienko.
The main topic of the meeting was the presentation of the new educational program for primary schools “Kraina znan”, which offers a modern vision of the content and methods of teaching younger students, in particular through the prism of STEM education, individual educational perspectives and a practice-oriented approach.
The head of the Department of Primary Education named after O.Ya. Savchenko of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogy of Ukraine Oksana Onoprienko also participated in the meeting. She presented the educational program “Land of Knowledge”, which offers a new vision of the content and methodology of primary education.
