Our young researcher Oleh Lushchak participated in the International Conference “Epigenenics: playing with the game of life»

During September 13-15, Associate Professor of Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology Oleh Lushchak has taken part  in the International Conference «Epigenetics: playing with the game of life» and workshop «Bioinformatics in Aging Research», organized by Institute for Biostatistics and Informatics in Medicine and Ageing Research (German).

The purpose of this meeting was (1) to discuss ageing as a modifiable risk factor of diseases, (2) to pro-mote greater communication among the world-wide community of individuals engaged in ageing research and (3) to invite young students to join this field of research.

The congress was the 9th international meeting on ageing in Halle (Saale) and  accompanied the development of a focus on ageing research in Central-Germany.

Oleh Lushchak gave a lecture «Ferulic acid esters extend the lifespan and improve the memory in elder animals».
