On August 25, the Center of Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU EcoSystem” of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University hosted another series of August webinars for pedagogical (scientific and pedagogical) workers using the latest teaching methods and tools. Participants from different regions of Ukraine – Kherson, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Lutsk, Donetsk, Chernivtsi, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia and other cities were actively involved.
The training was conducted within the framework of the international project of the EU Erasmus + “Modernization of pedagogical higher education using innovative teaching tools – MoPED” (№ 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
Thus, during the webinar “Modern Ukrainian literature for children and youth: new methods of developing students’ reading culture” (trainer: Doctor of Philology, Professor Tetyana Kachak) an interesting review of literary texts on various topics was done, the peculiarities and criteria of the book selection for young readers were emphasized, the actual methods of children’s reading development and the author’s methods of promotion in educational institutions were presented.
Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Inna Chervinska acquainted students, educators of high educational institutions with the use of innovative media resources in professional educational activities.The issues of the webinar “The use of innovative media resources in the educational activities of teachers” were aimed at helping to navigate in the media-digital world, to support on the way of mastering innovative media technologies, to teach to apply them in educational process, to develop digital literacy, safety of behavior in the network environment.
The webinar “Useful Apps and Tips for Teaching Students and Kids (Must-Haves)” (trainer: Assistant Kateryna Fomin) provided acquaintance of teachers and students with the peculiarities of creating an interactive virtual meeting of teachers and students, using GIF, mini-video and audio materials for activation of perception and establishment of digital communication.
Participants enriched their knowledge about the possibilities of creative presentation of pedagogical experience of teachers with the use of digital, information and media resources. At the webinar “Working with a 3D printer. Creating the design of the future product”(trainer: Candidate of Technical Sciences Mykhailo Kotyk) participants enriched their knowledge and skills with the possibilities of 3D technologies based on the multifunctional 3D device XYZPrinting 3in1 PRO, materials for secure three-dimensional printing, basic principles of three-dimensional modeling of objects; were able to see the online process of making a particular product.
Positive feedback from participants, active comments in chats proved the relevance of the outlined problems and educators’ interest in such events.
We are announcing professional training courses for teachers on these and other topics using digital technologies in online and offline learning in the fall.
