Public lectures were held today at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University within the framework of the sixth Via Carpatia International Forum of Central and Eastern Europe. The name of this year’s event, which is being held with the participation of public opinion leaders, experts and representatives of state authorities, is “The Future of Tradition: Ukrainian in the Global World.” The initiator of the forum is People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Knyazhitsky, who also held his public lecture at the university.
“Today’s public lectures at our university open the Via Carpatia forum. And we have a unique opportunity to listen to interesting opinions about various painful problems for Ukraine. For us, as a university community, these topics are not only interesting, but also a kind of challenges, tasks that we have to fulfill now or in the near future. After all, universities will continue to be the centers around which a powerful young elite will be formed, which Ukraine needs so much now,” said today the Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Professor Ihor Tsependa.
