On May 9, as part of the celebration of Europe Day, the EuroSummit of public organizations was held in Kyiv for the first time. The Director of the Educational and Scientific Center for Professional Career and Lifetime Education of Vasyl Stefanyk National University of Prykarpattia, Professor Mykhailo Nagornyak, took part in its work.
More than 150 representatives of public organizations, experts, public activists, representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, in particular, members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Office of the President, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and international partners of Ukraine from the European Union discussed the directions of work necessary for Ukraine to become a member of the EU.
The event was held by the NGO EasyBusiness with the support of ISAR Yedannia within the framework of the project “Initiative of sectoral support of the civil society of Ukraine” in partnership with the EU Representation in Ukraine.
The participants of the international event attended presentations by analysts of the NGO EasyBusiness, panel discussions with the participation of representatives of the Ukrainian Government, Parliament, the EU Representation in Ukraine and experts, as well as thematic workshops and experience sharing sessions.
