The European Championship in powerlifting among adults, juniors, boys and girls, was held on May 7-12 (Hamm, Luxembourg). DmytroHolinei, the student of the speciality “Secondary Education Physical Culture” from Kolomyia Education-Scientific Institute of VasylStefanykPrecarpathian National University, became a bronze winner in the weight category up to 120 kg.
The athlete squatted with the barbell of 360 kg (a small bronze medal), he showed the result of 220 kg in the bench press and fixed the barbell of 300 kg in the deadlift (a small silver medal), that totals 880 kg in the three-attempt format.
