On June 15-16, the national 3×3 basketball team of Ukraine, consisting of female students and graduates of the Prykarpattia National University, played successful matches in Bratislava (Slovakia) in the qualification for the European Championship and reached the final part of Europe!
In total, 7 women’s teams played in Slovakia. They held the first group stage, where after beating the national teams of Poland, Turkey and Estonia, our players as the winners of the group immediately got to the semi-finals. And today, after beating the Slovakian national team, at 21:16, the Ukrainian national team reached the finals of the European Championship!
The girls under the leadership of Yury Protsyuk have been training since April and have already held a number of important representative tournaments – they played in the Olympic qualification and the stages of the Women’s 3×3 Series in Marseille and Ulaanbaatar.
