Congratulations to the scientists of PNU on receiving the Borys Paton National Prize!

On November 27, 2024, by decree of the President of Ukraine No. 780/2024, the Borys Paton National Prize was awarded to a group of authors for the outstanding work “Ukraine Soborna in the Struggle for State Independence 1917-1923.” 

This work was submitted for awarding by the Academic Council of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Among the laureates are leading scientists of the university and their colleagues from other scientific institutions of Ukraine: 

·       Ihor Tsependa – Doctor of Political Sciences, Acting Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University;

·       Volodymyr Velykochyi – Doctor of Historical Sciences, Dean of the University Faculty;

·       Mykola Kugutiak – Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department;

·       Mykola Vitenko – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor;

·       Ihor Soliar – Doctor of Historical Sciences, Director of Ivan Krypiakevych Institute of Ukrainian Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

·       Mykola Lytvyn – Doctor of Historical Sciences, Head of the Department of Ivan Krypiakevych Institute of Ukrainian Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

·       Oleksandr Dobrzhansky – Doctor of Historical Sciences, Acting Head of the Department of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University;

·       Oleg Pavlyshyn – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
