Congratulations to the Winners of the Scholarship Competition by the Institute for Eastern Studies Foundation

At Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, the second stage of the scholarship competition by the Institute for Eastern Studies Foundation (Republic of Poland) has concluded. During their self-presentations, the finalists showcased their master’s research projects, which contribute to the university’s development in accordance with the Carpathian University Development Strategy 2020–2027 or the Ivano-Frankivsk Region Development Strategy 2021–2027.

The winners of the competition are:

  • Oksana Boiko (Faculty of Philology) – Master’s thesis: “Genology of Vasyl Symonenko’s Short Prose” (296 points).
  • Viktoriia Marusiak (Faculty of Economics) – Master’s thesis: “Optimization of the Financial Mechanism for Managing Cross-Border Projects in the Context of Global Economic Crises” (300 points).

Both winners will receive a one-time scholarship of $1,000 from the Institute for Eastern Studies Foundation.

Additionally, Acting Rector Ihor Tsependa has decided to support all competition participants. Apart from the winners, each participant will receive an individual grant of 5,000 UAH from the university.
