On April 2, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University held a charity auction in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its exhibition hall. The event brought together many people trying to to help our defenders. The event was organised by the Educational and Scientific Institute of Arts and its Director Volodymyr Fedorak . The event was hosted by Taras Vasyliuk, senior lecturer of the Department of Performing Arts and Choreography .
“It has become a good tradition of our university to bring together our personnel and university community to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We actively cooperate with various organizations, charitable foundations and support military units directly. These days we are raising money for the initiative Save Ukraine Now , which has been a reliable partner of the university for years and which supports locally formed military units. The art works presented at this event are unique works that manifest the creative potential of art schools and our university Institute of Arts. Not only do they demonstrate our students’ talent, but also help our defenders. I am convinced that today we will be able to raise a significant amount of money that will serve as another stepping stone on the way to our heroic warriors. I sincerely thank everyone who takes part in this important initiative! ”- Ihor Tsependa, the acting rector of PNU addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
The auction featured 36 unique works of fine and applied arts created by students of the PNU Educational and Scientific Institute of Arts. Auction guests were impressed by the craftsmanship, depth of content, and patriotic themes.
Thanks to the active participation of benefactors and patrons, we have managed to collect 330,100 hryvnias, which will be transferred to the Coordination center Save Ukraine Now ( SUN ) and used to purchase necessary equipment and supplies for the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
