As part of the 1+1 Media School educational program, Nazar Dukhniy, a student majoring in Journalism at Ivano-Frankivsk Professional College of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University and a participant in the All-Ukrainian Contest and Defense of Research Projects organized by the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, visited one of the country’s most renowned television studios, the 1+1 TV channel and the TSN newsroom. He was accompanied by his academic mentor and the college’s communications specialist, Iryna Skavinska.
This visit was more than just a tour — it was a true immersion into the professional world of modern journalism.
During their time at the TV channel, the participants had the opportunity to witness firsthand:
– how news is prepared in real-time;
– the work of control rooms and live broadcast studios;
– the operation of teleprompters, makeup rooms, and technical filming equipment;
– the live filming process of morning shows.
A highlight of the visit was a creative meeting with Alla Mazur, a leading journalist and anchor at TSN. She openly shared the story of her professional journey, spoke about the challenges and transformations in the media industry, and answered numerous questions from the students.
