Business Open to Everyone: Inclusion and Diversity in Business Strategies and Employment

Third-year students of the Primary Education program, accompanied by their lecturer Iryna Skavinska, took part in the second conference of the project Ukrainian Corporate Equality IndexBusiness Open to Everyone: Inclusion and Diversity in Business Strategies and Employment, held in Kyiv and organized by the NGO Tochka Opory.

The event provided a platform for open dialogue, where students, through the lens of non-formal education, attended panel discussions featuring representatives of leading Ukrainian and international companies — METRO, JTI, Intellias, McDonald’s, Suspilne, Monobank, Avrora, Good Bread, among others.

During the event, students had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the concept of transition — a complex, step-by-step process that goes beyond school graduation to encompass the development of independent living skills, social integration, career planning, further education, or employment for individuals with special educational needs.
