University scholars participated in the Ukrainian Language Days in Romania

The delegation of the university scholars which consisted of Inna Chervinska, the head of the Creative Educational and Scientific Laboratory “Mountain School of the Ukrainian Carpathians”, Oksana Derevyanko, associate professor of the Department of English Philology and Olga Dudka, associate professor of the Department of Informatics and Methods of its Teaching took part in celebrations dedicated to the days of Ukraine in Romania.

The program of the events included days of Ukrainian cinema, international conference, Solemn Academy, devoted to the Ukrainian language in Romania. The scientists of the Precarpathian university also joined the work of the III International Scientific Conference “Ukrainians in Romania – History, Present Days and Perspectives”, which took place in the capital of the country Bucharest. Thus, in particular, Inna Chervvinska moderated the section “Ethnography and Education”, where she presented the report on the topic “The role of museums in promoting and preserving the ethno-cultural heritage of the mountain regions of the Carpathians”. The Head of the laboratory “Innovative technologies of teaching mathematics and informatics’, Olga Dudka presented the report on the topic “The opportunities of students’ national self-expression in the context of globalization of digital educational space”. Oksana Derevianko made a presentation on the topic “Means of Expression of Debitive Modality in the Authorial Discourse of Michael Hafiia Traista”. Such events contribute to the establishment of partnership relations between scientists from Romania and Ukraine, which will develop scientific cooperation and interaction between the two countries.
