The XIX International Freik Conference on Physics and Technology of Thin Films and Nanosystems (MKFTTPN-XVII) commenced in the premises of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies “PNU EcoSystem” on October, 10 as a planned event of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for 2023. The international scientific forum is set to last for 5 days. The participants of the conference are leading scientists from Ukraine and other countries.
A notable side event to the conference is a summer school for students and young researchers focused on “Nanotechnologies and Entrepreneurship”, supported by the REGINNA 4.0 project. This project receives financial support from the EU”s Horizon Europe research and innovation program under the EIT-HEI initiative: https://www.reginna4-0.eu/en/ Participants who successfully complete the summer school program will be awarded an international certificate of 2 ECTS credits.
The conference boasts a long-standing history of 30 years. Since 2017, in memory of its founder, the name of Professor Dmytro Freik of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University has been added to the title of the conference.
