During the charity campaign “The Ukrainian Youth Deserves a European Book!”, 323 books were delivered to the Precarpathian National University from the Netherlands and France. The PNU eagerly supported the international initiative designed to recover library funds of Ukrainian educational institutions, centers, and libraries, which need support because of the russian aggression. Among the delivered books are 150 books in Ukrainian, 19 in French, and 92 in English.
The campaign was launched under the title “The Ukrainian Children Deserve a Ukrainian Book” with the beginning of the full-scale war, and now it is in the second stage, i.e. the support of higher educational institutions, which will contribute to the cultural enrichment and development of the Ukrainian young generation, the establishment of the educated and strong nation, its integration into the European scientific and cultural space.
The initiative was started by the Office of the President of Ukraine, the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
