On May 2, PNU rector Ihor Tsependa presented the diploma of honorary professor to Askold Lozynsky, an outstanding political and public figure, the long-term Chairman of the World Congress of Ukrainians, the chairman of the Foundation of the Ukrainian Free University.
The rector especially noted the long-term cooperation of the Lozynski Foundation with the university. The Foundation’s assistance enables the best students of PNU from low-income families to receive a good monetary scholarship for 10 months of the academic year.
Despite his American citizenship and birth in the USA, Askold Yevhenovich Lozynskyi has proven his dedication to the development of Ukraine through years of hard work. His activities are of great importance for a better understanding and support of Ukraine in the civilized world. At the same time, he actively helps Ukrainians in our country itself. This includes a wide variety of charitable activities, starting from the purchase of non-lethal weapons needed by our military, ending with financial assistance for talented Ukrainian youth.
