Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University has become the winner of the second competition of projects under the prestigious international program of cross-border cooperation Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020 for the thematic objective “Heritage” (priority: “Promoting local culture and history”) and the main beneficiary of the project “Gateway to Central Gorgany: Intercultural Dialogue at the Polish-Ukrainian Border”. The University’s partners in the project are the Higher State Professional School in Helm (The Republic of Poland) and the Broshniv-Osadska JTC of the Rozhnyativ District.
The total budget of the project is 55,688 euros.
In opinion of the author of the project Olga Maksymovych, within the project the objects of historical and cultural heritage of the community will be registered. The contents of the project also include cross-border events with the participation of scientists, government officials, stakeholders of the tourism industry and international experts, promotion of the historical and cultural heritage of the community, sociological and ethnographic research, biographical interviews, trainings, development of marketing tools for promoting community tourist offers on the market of tourism services in Ukraine and abroad.
