An informative meeting and an interactive workshop “Digital and Media Competence of Educators” was held at the Biloberizka Lyceum (a supporting institution) of Verkhovyna District of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Educators of preschool education institutions and general secondary and out-of-school education institutions of Beloberizka United Territorial Community participated in the event. The event was a part of the EU Erasmus + Project MoPED (No. 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
Academic project team: Galyna Mykhailyshyn, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work; Olena Budnyk, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Center of Innovative Educational Technologies ”PNU-EcoSystem”; Inna Chervinska, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor; Tetyana Blyznyuk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Assistant Professor presented the main tasks of the project on disseminating best European practices in teaching students, as well as possibilities for professional development of pedagogical staff at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, including distant trainings. Educators of mountain remote areas showed their interest in furthering the promotion of STEAM education in the region, enhancing digital and media competences.
