The Institute for Eastern European Studies (Republic of Poland, Warsaw) together with Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University is implementing a grant project called “Support to the International Center for Youth Meetings”. The project is funded by the Polish Development Cooperation Program “Polish Aid” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. The total amount of the project is PLN 380,905.00. Its goal is to develop entrepreneurship (including one that uses innovative solutions, tools and technologies) among Ukrainian youth.Computer equipment for the IT HUB, which will be created at the International Center for Student Meetings of Ukraine and Poland in Mykulychyn was purchased with grant funds . There will be computer laboratories equipped with the latest technology and training spaces, which will serve as a place for cooperation of talented young people. Computer simulations, generation and implementation of ideas and innovations, STEM programs, competitions in cyberspace are the main, but not the only, functions that will be implemented. It is also worth noting that the design of IT HUB will be flexible and configurable, it will create space for collaboration in small groups and brainstorming, as well as separate work areas.Also within the project, a number of Polish experts prepared articles on the development of innovative entrepreneurship in Ukraine, which can be found on the Polish-Ukrainian platform for the exchange of views. During the VI European Congress of Local Self-Government, which took place on December 6-7 last year in Mikolajki (Poland), a panel discussion was held on the impact of cross-border cooperation on business development.
Note that the Institute for Eastern European Studies (Republic of Poland, Warsaw) is a long-term partner of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. From 2018, our best students will receive scholarships from the Foundation for the Institute of Eastern European Studies. In total, there are more than fifty such scholars.
