Acting Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, Ihor Tsependa, visited the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and met with its director, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and Honorary Doctor of PNU, Yaroslav Yatskiv.
During the conversation, they discussed the collaboration between the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the International Scientific Center “Observatory” of the Precarpathian and Warsaw Universities regarding the development of scientific directions and the promotion of astronomical science in Ukraine.
The parties also discussed the potential for preserving and enhancing scientific potential, which could be achieved through the effective organization of the educational process in higher education and the creation of conditions for the professional self-realization of highly qualified specialists.
