Mykhailyshyn Halyna Yosypivna – Doctor of Philosophy, Professor.
She was born May 16, 1960 in Krykhivtsi village, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1979 Mykhailyshyn Halyna Yosypivna graduated with honors from the Kolomyia Pedagogical College; in 1984 – from the Kyiv State Pedagogical Institute named after A.M. Gorky, majoring in Pedagogics and Psychology, receiving the qualification of a teacher-researcher in pedagogics and psychology. In 2002 she obtained her second higher education at the Lviv State Institute of Physical Education, majoring in Physical Education. In 1984–1990 Mykhailyshyn H. Y. was a teacher of pedagogics at the Ivano-Frankivsk College of Physical Education. In 1990–2011 she worked as the Vice Principal of Education at the Ivano-Frankivsk College of Physical Education (now Ivano- Frankivsk College of Physical Education).
In 2006 Mykhailyshyn Halyna Yosypivna defended her PhD thesis “Formation of professional skills of future teachers in the system of educational work of higher educational institutions of physical education” and was awarded the scientific degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences within the specialty 13.00.04 – Theory and Methodology of Professional Education. Since 2007, she has worked part-time, and since September 2011 – full-time as an Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogics at the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. In 2013, Mykhailyshyn H. Y. defended her doctoral dissertation “Value-philosophical aspects of the modern educational paradigm (philosophical conceptualization)”. In 2013 she was awarded the academic rank of Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogics and Social Work.
Since September 2013 she has been an Acting Vice-rector of Education of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. Since February 2014 – Vice-rector of Education of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
Author of more than 70 works, including more than 60 scientific ones; 2 monographs, a textbook with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (co-authored). She has repeatedly worked in the commissions of the State Inspection of Educational Institutions of Ukraine (State Service for Quality of Education of Ukraine).
Mykhailyshyn Halyna Yosypivna is a participant in the joint project of the International Foundation for Educational Policy Research and Warsaw University “Innovative University and Leadership. Phase II: Quality Assurance and
Internationalization”. She is the author of the microproject “Model of activity of higher education institutions for quality assurance of educational services” (2015). She did work experience with Varna University of Management (Bulgaria) in 2015.
Mykhailyshyn H. Y. is a member of the academic group of the international project ERASMUS + “MoPED – Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments”, No. 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (2017 -2020 years). She participated in an educational visit organized within the project performed by Deusto University (Bilbao, Spain).
Scientific interests: professional training of specialists with higher education, philosophical aspects of quality assurance in higher education,management of higher education institutions.
