Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University motivates to be excellent students and to get scholarships abroad! Besides, under the Erasmus + K1 program, students who are fluent in English can attend at least 2-3 European universities within five years of studying. It’s worth mentioning that all the exams they pass during the term will be enrolled. A meeting of the scholarship committee took place on December 23. The university rector, Professor Igor Tsependa, announced the brightest students.
“It motivates our students, broadens the outlook and deepens the knowledge, gives them the opportunity to adapt to the global European education system”, – the rector said.
He solemnly presented a $ 1,000 certificate from the Lozynsky Foundation (the USA) to Lesla Mandro, a student of the Pedagogical Faculty of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. She specializes in social work and was given the grant for the best master’s thesis. The topic of her scientific work is “The formation of “soft skills” of future
social pedagogues”. Scientific adviser – Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Galina Mikhaylyshyn.
It should be noted that recently 10 best students from needy families have also received certificates of $500 per year from the Lozynsky Foundation (the USA). This year the agreement between Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University and the Lozynsky Foundation (the USA) has been signed. It gives an opportunity to the students of our
University to be provided with charitable financial assistance.
During the meeting of the scholarship committee the rector of the University, Igor Tsependa, also congratulated two other students – Natalia Korotko (Faculty of Philology) and Galina Titova (Faculty of Tourism), who won the qualifying competition under the Erasmus + program. The rector handed them the certificates for studying at our partner – University – The Jacob of Paradies University, Gorzow Wielkopolski, Poland. Our students will receive a
monthly scholarship of 800 Euros each month during the spring semester of the 2019/2020 academic year.
It is worth emphasizing that Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in cooperation with the leading universities of the Republic of Poland has provided its students with the opportunity to study for a master’s program of dual diplomas in 12 specialties.
