The project «The Students Space Zone Arrangement Paragraph» of Precarpathian University is one of the three winners of the contest in the frames of the programme «Student Action: The Programme of the Development of Students Leadership Competence». The Paragraph Team will receive financial aid at 20 000 UAH from the British Council in Ukraine to arrange and upgrade the students space for co-working in the University. The manager of this project is a student of the International Relations Department – Viktor Lesyk.
«This achievement has significantly strengthened our own leadership confidence in creating social initiatives. We have been gaining and exchanging experience, acquiring new skills, necessary for public students organizations», – stated Viktor Lesyk.
The main goal of the project is to arrange comfortable conditions for individual and team work, studying and resting, holding educational and cultural events in the Paragraph. It will give a great opportunity for students to self-fulfill and create the background for effective student-teacher collaboration as well as university administration with local businesses, authorities and public. Furthermore, the project stakeholders will work on the grounds of the mutual interests and will be able to realise more and more interesting projects.
60 students-participants from different Universities took part in the programme run by the British Council in Ukraine. Uzhgorod National University and Zaporizhya National University are among the winners too. In the frames of the programme «Student Action: The Programme of the Development of Students Leadership Competence for students of higher educational establishments in Ukraine there took place two educational modules aiming at improving young peoples’ own projects to support academic virtue, updating the educational process, arranging lounge zones for students.
