Nadia Bahai, an associate professor of the Department of Labour, Ecological, and Agrarian Law, Educational-Scientific Institute of Law, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University, solemnly took the Oath of Judge of Supreme Court of Ukraine. The ceremony was held in Kyiv in the presence of Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine. The President congratulated the newly appointed Judges and mentioned that since the present time 193 Judges would work in the Supreme Court.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Supreme Court Valentyna Danishevska, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Oleksiy Filatov, the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko, the ambassadors of foreign countries, and the representatives of international organizations.
In March, 2019 High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine completed the second in the country’s history position contest and revealed the names of its winners. The Commission recommended for the appointment almost 30% of candidates who had never worked as Judges before.
