On May 16-17, 2023, at the Three Seas economic congress in Lublin, organized under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, our Precarpathian University was represented by the head of the Department of Accounting and Taxation Professor Ivan Balaniuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Social Pedagogy and Social Work Natalia Sabat and Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Economics Diana Shelenko.
The Congress is an international economic event that brings together representatives of state administration, local and regional self-government, science and business from 12 participating countries of the Three seas Initiative (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic), as well as representatives of strategic partners (European Union, the USA, Germany) and regional partners from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
Andrzej Duda – President of the Republic of Poland; Elzbeta Barbara Vitek – Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland spoke at the congress with welcoming speeches.
The purpose of visiting the event is to study the experience of the results of the activities of the states of the Three seas and their scientific developments with the aim of recommending best practices for the use by business entities of the Carpathian region, as well as introducing them into the educational process of the university and directing the scientific research of scientific and pedagogical workers, postgraduates and students.
Experience, knowledge and positive practices of experts are recommendations for effective solutions that will be implemented in the scientific activity of the departments.
