Our students took part in a conference on space technology issues

Students of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University participated in the 6th Space Resources Conference which lasted from May 15 to May 19 at Stanisław Staszyc Mining and Metallurgy Academy (Krakow, Poland).

The PNU-UNIVERSEH student team was supported by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

This conference is an event held to discuss advanced technologies related to modern problems of space exploration and the use of space resources to improve human living conditions and protect the Earth’s environment.

All members of the PNU-UNIVERSEH team presented oral reports on various scientific issues, in particular, creating materials for protection against cosmic radiation and the development of the latest communication methods.

As part of the conference, students took part in the International Space Hackathon where Ukrainian physicists, biologists, ecologists, geographers, and mathematicians offered practical solutions to modern challenges related to space technologies together with students from France, Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg, and Poland,

The participation of the PNU-UNIVERSEH team in these events is the implementation of the principle of Europeanization of Ukrainian education, which is systematically implemented by Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

It should be noted that Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University continues its successful cooperation with the University of Toulouse (France), the University of Luxembourg, the Heinrich Heine University of Düsseldorf (Germany), the AGH University of Science and Technology (Poland) and the Luleå University of Technology (Sweden) within the framework of activities of the UNIVERSEH consortium.

The main mission of the consortium is to carry out joint research and educational activities in the field of “Space for Earth and Humanity” under the condition of combining the capabilities of the academic environment around “space” problems and technologies.
