While celebrating the 20 th anniversary of the Polish-Ukrainian cross-border cooperation, the partners of the PIMReC project “Adaptation of the former observatory on mountain Pip Ivan to the needs of alpine rescue service training center” visited the “Hutsul pyramid” on the day of its 85 th anniversary.
The intermediate results of the project were summarized by Igor Tsependa, Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, and PNU representatives; Jan Malitsky, Director of the Center for Eastern European Studies,
and representatives of the University of Warsaw; Taras Kochkodan, Director of the Emergency Response Department, Office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast; Mykola Burlak, manager of the PIMReC project; representatives of the SESU Office in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast; Vasyl Khimiak, senior expert of the Representation of the Poland-Ukraine Cross-Border Cooperation Program in Lviv; representatives of the consular and regional government structures of the Republic of Poland who have been assisting and continue to assist the reconstruction of the Observatory.
