The Ukrainian Championship in badminton U-13 among younger boys and girls born in 2012 has ended. Today, at the university sports complex “Olymp”, where the competitions took place, the winners and medalists were awarded by the President of the Badminton Federation of Ukraine, Oleksiy Dnipro, and the rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, head of the regional badminton federation, Ihor Tsependa.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Sports for Higher Achievements of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Public Organization “Badminton Federation of Ukraine”.
The strongest athletes from the regions, cities of Ukraine, sports clubs, sports schools for children, specialized children’s and youth sports schools took part in the Ukrainian Championship.
These are the first competitions among children held in Ivano-Frankivsk. Eighty-six participants from different cities of Ukraine, including Frankivsk, Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia, took part in them.
