On January 17 the president of the University, professor Ihor Tsependa, held a meeting with the delegation from the University of Opole (Poland) – Doctor Lech Rubisz, Head of the Institute of Political Science and Administration, Doctor Adam Drosik, Dean of the Department of political science and social communication, Doctor Eva Ganowicz, Head of the Department of regional research, University of Opole. The meeting was also attended by the vice-rector
on scientific research of the Precarpathian University, Valentyna Yakubiv, Head of the Department of political institutes and processes of the Faculty of history, political science and international relations, professor Vasyl Marchuk, Head of the Department of political science of the Faculty of history, political science and international relations, professor Vasyl Klymonchuk.
During the meeting, the participants discussed prospects for cooperation and outlined the mechanisms of its implementation between the two universitiees in educational and academic directions. Namely, they discussed cooperation within the framework of the EU Erasmus + KA1 programme on academic mobility, exchange of publications in scholarly journals, implementation of joint projects.
During the bilateral meeting they also discussed the prospects of the Precarpathian University students’ participation in the Master’s programme "Europe", which the Institute of Political Science and Administration of the University of Opole is implementing together with German and French universities.
The president Ihor Tsependa shared the experience of the university experts in their work on projects on cooperation with local territorial communities on the example of the Educational centre "Agents of Change", implementation of scientific research in biochemistry, a joint project with the University of Warsaw on the renovation of the observatory on Pip Ivan mountain.
